Surface Preparations

N/A

All surfaces to be coated must be free of any oils, moisture, dust or loose foam particles.

USE ADEQUATE VENTILATION.

Hints

N/A

A dry film thickness of 1-2 mils minimum is recommended for best results. When using a dip tank always leave at least 6" from fliud surface to tank top to minimize "skinning over". Please contact Technical Serice for assistance. Always use proper ventilation and protection.

Mixing Instructions

N/A

Dipping:
Be sure to adequately mix F-1101-FR before and agitate during use, being careful not to introduce air into mixture which can cause excessive bubbles or foaming.

Use Instructions

N/A

Low PPI reticulated foams-
Submerge foam completely making sure to "wet out" all surfaces then quickly remove and allow coating to run off back into tank or reclaim container. Its important to return run off to the tank immediately and mix periodically. After removing from tank and allowing excess to run off, shake the coated foam piece against tank side to remove excess coating from foam cell structure. Air dry item for 5 minutes then place in mild heat [90-120f] and air movement until completely dry. Dry time will vary depending on humidity, heat, air flow and coating thickness.

High PPI reticulated foams-
Submerge foam completely making sure to "wet out" all surfaces, then run through pinch rollers to squeeze out excess coating and allow coating to run off back into tank or reclaim container. Its important to return run off to the tank immediately and mix periodically. Air dry item for 5 minutes then place in mild heat [90-120f] and air movement until completely dry. Dry time will vary depending on humidity, heat, air flow and coating thickness.
