Prep-sol Foam Primer is an air dry vinyl solvent based primer which has been specifically formulated to increase adhesion of other Muraculon spray coatings. The F-789 can be used on contour cut polyurethane polyester and polyether foams. F-789 Prep-sol Foam Primer is especially effective in increasing adhesion to molded flexible polyurethane foams with mold release agents on the surface. Reasonable effort to minimize or remove the release agent residue is required for best results.

F-789 is used in manufacturing of patient positioning products such as wheelchair cushions, positioning aids and other industrial applications.

MIX WELL BEFORE USE
All surfaces to be coated must be free of any oils, dust or loose foam particles. It is recommended that the entire foam surface be wiped clean using a lint free cloth with either NMP [n-methyl-pyroliodone] or MEK [methyl ethyl ketone] solvent. Test surface for compatibility. Allow solvent to flash before priming.

Spraying

SHEER MIX BEFORE SPRAYING.
Siphon Cup Gun/ Pressure pot sprayers may be used. Apply light [damp] overlapping coats, holding gun 6"-12" from surface, using 4"-6" pattern. Be sure to coat the entire surface and allow to dry 30 minutes minimum or until tacky to touch before applying Muraculon Coating.
