F-674's' is an acrylic water base coating designed to protect polystyrene and expanded polystyrene foams from impact damage as well as improve appearance.

It's very low V.O.C.'s, non-flammable and high solids content make it an Emission Control Coating System, eccs®. F-674's' has excellent chemical, abrasion and impact resistance. With its semi-gloss finish, F-674's' is perfect for logos, letters or any 3 dimensional item used for display purposes. This high performance acrylic is also excellent for outdoor use on polystyrene dock foams, packaging items, decoys and the list goes on.

Use F-674's' anywhere common paints fail on polystyrene foams and enjoy the long term benefits of a quality, easy to use water base coating.

Surface Preparations

N/A MIX WELL BEFORE USE.

All surfaces to be coated must be free of any oils, dust or loose foam particles.

USE ADEQUATE VENTILATION.

Spraying

N/A Pressure pot/conventional spray equipment may be used. Gently mix before spraying. Apply wet, overlapping coats, holding gun 6-12" from surface, using a 4-6" pattern. Allow to completely dry before applying additional coats to desired thickness.

Brush/Roller

N/A Gently mix before each use. Apply wet overlapping coats using a foam brush, pad or roller. Allow to completely dry before applying additional coats to desired thickness.

Hints

N/A A dry film thickness of 6-8 mils is recommended for best results. Allow overnight drying whenever possible. To speed drying, mild heat (95°F-110°F) and air flow may be used. Most water base products take up to one week to fully cure, if not heat cured. Avoid excessive air movement, heat or humidity. Always use proper ventilation and protection.
