Surface Preparations

N/A All surfaces to be coated must be free of all oils, grease, dirt, wax and must be dry. Be sure to always properly mask off areas that are not to be coated to minimize overspray clean up or damage to other surfaces or finishes. Always test F-1068 on surface to be coated for ease of removal.

MIX WELL BEFORE USE. USE ADEQUATE VENTILATION.

Spraying

N/A Overspray will NOT peel. Wet continuous coats must be applied for easy removal.
Turbine Sprayer -
Using a Wagner MotoCoat® sprayer (or similar) turbine sprayer. Gently mix before each use. If spraying a small area, and turbine has a fan speed selector, use low setting. If applying to a larger area, set speed selector to high setting for improved atomization. Apply wet, overlapping coats, holding gun 6"-12" from surface, using a 4"- 6" pattern. Allow to dry to touch before applying additional coats to desired thickness. One wet coat is approximately 6-8 mils wet (3-4 mils dry) and most applications require 6-8 mils dry for easy peel and adequate protection. Minimum two full coats are recommended for most applications.
